About the Role
As a Remote 3D Modeler, you will be responsible for creating high-quality 3D models for various projects. You will work closely with our team of artists, designers, and engineers to bring concepts to life. This role requires a keen eye for detail, creativity, and the ability to work independently while maintaining strong communication with the team.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
Create detailed 3D models for characters, environments, props, and other assets as needed.
Work with texturing tools to create realistic textures and materials.
Ensure models are optimized for performance without compromising quality.
Collaborate with the team to understand project requirements and deliver assets that meet the artistic vision.
Participate in regular team meetings and provide updates on progress.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in 3D modeling.
Requirements:
Relevant work experience: 2 years preferred in 3D modeling, preferably in the entertainment, gaming, or film industry.
Proficiency in 3D modeling software: Preferred expertise in software such as Autodesk Maya, Blender, 3ds Max, ZBrush, Cinema 4D, and similar tools.
Knowledge of texturing and shading techniques.
Strong understanding of anatomy, form, and proportion.
Experience with UV mapping and baking textures.
Basic knowledge of rigging and animation processes.
Proficiency in digital sculpting tools.
Strong artistic skills with attention to detail.
Ability to conceptualize and create innovative designs.
Knowledge of design principles including color theory, lighting, and composition.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work well in a team environment and independently.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with remote work and online collaboration tools.
Familiarity with project management software such as Asana, Trello, or similar.
